Man, what a let down from Kawasaki. I won’t be buying one. I’m sure without a doubt they are nice, but I am very disappointed with this release. First off, a 4 cylinder engine and it’s still a 1000cc class. I believe it’s 92 hp on the cheaper version. My KRX has more than that and I wish it had a little more so the Ridge in that department is a let down. Small wheels, I think 27 inch on 14 inch rims. Come on Kawasaki what were you thinking? Most people upgrade their KRXs to 32 or 35’s. Some people may like a dump bed on a sxs but I ride with a few people who has them and I’ve never seen or heard any of them brag on using them. A dump bed is useless. The heat and air conditioning I figure would be nice but the KRX is a gas drinker, but wait, the Ridge does have a 13.5 gallon tank. I wonder why? My final thoughts, I guess if you were think of buying a Polaris Ranger you now have a choice. Personally I was hoping, like Almost Everyone, for a turbocharged sporty 4 door enclosure like the Expedition or at least a two door capable of competing with the Razor. I guess we can always dream.

I'm surprised about the horsepower and the lack of a four-door model at launch. My family and dog love going with me in the UTV so a four-door model is a must. I'm guessing Kawasaki will release a four-door version this fall or maybe even this time next year???

I would be Most interested in the Limited but Most definitely would put some 30s on it. Does any one know if the Door sides and bed sides are just Stickers. I would be disappointed if So...?

That's a good question! I haven't heard, but I will keep an eye out for the answer to this.

Thank you..it seems I find out More everyday. But I Thought I remembered someone saying about painted sides..I sure Hope So...that might be a Deal Breaker on a 34K machine.

The nice thing about decals is you can easily remove them for a unique look if you don't care for the graphics that come standard. I see a lot of guys remove the accent colors on the Xpedition and it makes for a nice clean look.

I am interested in the XR HVAC. The biggest thing I am bummed about is they did not make the doors locking.
Welcome to the forum! Can-Am did the same thing on the new Defender, and all those buyers complain about the lack of locks as well.

I am hoping for a standard HVAC but would probably take a Limited if available sooner. I normally don't care what color something is but I am struggling to like the gold even a little. Only thing of value on the Limited for me is the stereo which I can add for around $1000.
