Just got an XR (red)

Put another 200 miles on My XR this weekend at 400 miles now so break in is gone. Was on logging roads and in the tight atv trails. Here is what I have found good and bad. On the logging roads this thing will get up and go and will hit 75 mph and gets there fairly quickly. I am coming of a Polaris general so my comparison will be to that machine (not a real good comparison as two different types of machine). As mentioned the XR will hit 75mph and that is with 33 inch tires on it, was it comfortable at that speed not as planted as general at same speed ridge was a little floaty so didn't hold it long. Was it as quick as the general no but was pretty impressive how much pull it had, considerable more juice than the defender. Handling was great at normal speed when you pushed up around 50 and above you could definitely feel some top end sway in the corners which I expected in a machine of this size and the 33 inch tires didn't help that for sure. I have never been in a side by side yet that wasn't noisy but this one is probably the best I have been in (still noisy though) especially 40 mph and above as this thing revs high 7000rpm at 40mph. This is also the best ride of any side by side I have been in handles the bumps nicely. Doors worked great as did the air and heater and power windows. So no general complains about the bike and what it is intended for. Now my complaints High Rpms didn't really like that but I guess that is why this thing goes as fast as it does. There is an annoying noise that comes out of it at about 28 to 41 MPH then disappears, I really can't explain it but for lack of a comparison it almost sounds like a heat shield on your car that has gotten loose, but disappears past 40mph or at least I can't hear it then.I am thinking it may be the clutch but I really don't know. I have a real bad squeak coming from the bike sounds like it is around the seat but I cannot find it (not for lack of looking) again could be under the seat where the clutch is. One other thing that will take some getting use to is the throttle, the bike is quit jerky in the tight trails, it is like you are on and off the throttle all the time. But I am getting use to it and don't find it as bad as when I first drove the bike. My buddy who has a defender said his is the same way very jerky at low speed on and of the throttle. So that is my impression so far of the Ridge XR I am very pleased with the bike so far yep a few quirks to work out but I have never bought anything in my life that you love everything about it, you just hope the things you like out weigh the things you don't like. And so far the likes in the ridge far out weigh the dislikes in my opinion. Hopefully Someone here has the same dam loud squeak and can solve that one for me. Would I buy it again forsure.

Yeah it's the seat most likely the bottom part take the pass cushion out and see if it goes away. People have used cardboard to shim it and keep it from being noisy
