New Ridge limited

Just purchased the limited have only put on just over 50 miles so far. So far I love the machine I have had two different Polaris RZR's and a Kawasaki Teryx. The ridge is really quite and I'm enjoying the HVAC, radio and navigation options. It does seem to run at very high RPM's around 5000 at 20 MPH I'm wondering if it may still be in dealer mode? All in all happy so far i guess time will tell.
 
Hello @mredmond welcome to the site. Wish I could give you advice on the high RPM but I'm not knowledgeable on that. Hopefully someone else will chime in!
 
Have you gotten more miles on the Ridge and if so, how's it running?
 
Mule pulled great. I have a ABI attachment trailer that I use all the time. It’s made for a utv and it has a dump bed. I just picked up the Ridge HVAC. I will have a good comparison soon

Nice! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the comparison.
 
One big difference. The diesel was loud from diesel clatter but its max torque was about 2500 rpms. It’s going to take some getting use to the high rpm reving. I put around at 3-4 mph and it’s about 3500 rpms. Very strange but reminds me of a snowmobile
 
The newer machines do cruise at a much higher RPM. I know it's pretty common for some of the Polaris machines to cruise in the 5,000 to 7,000 rpm range.
