I've had most every SxS, starting with a Polaris Ranger, Mule, Can Am Defender, even had a CF moto for a short time, (actually to long for that machine). I would really like to know what the real world
thinks of the Ridge after owning one. I am a sporting clay instructor, and all my machines ever do is drive in circles around a sporting clay course when I teach and plow my driveway when it snows. I put a lot
of hours on, but no real mileage. I having heat is a must in winter, and the ability to plow in winter is the only reason I have a SxS other than something else. When I test drove the machine the only thing I
did not like is the clutch engagement, and my dealer is shimming the clutch to alleviate the slight jerk on starting to move. I was told Kawi wants the clutch shimmed to prevent that. Soooooooooo what does
the real world think of this machine? One of the main reasons I always like Kawi is the build quality and warranty. They stand behind what they sell even though they know some users are just going to beat the
crap out of their machines. Knowing that, they still believe they will stand up and it shows in their warranty.
